Found unit circuit breaker had failed and needed to be replaced - replaced breaker and cycled system to check operation. Everything runs normally again.

Performed 3 AC maintenance tune up services (2) Furnace and AC and (1) Heat pump system. Checked all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, flushing of drain lines and treatment of condensate pump with algae tablets. Everything is operating within manufacturers specifications at this time!

Performed spring maintenance on 2 systems Heat pump system Compressor is pulling 8 amps Outdoor fan is pulling 1 amp Blower motor is pulling 1 amp Subcool is 26 Superheat is 2 Temperature difference between return and supply is 14 Filter had not been replaced since August of last year and was completely plugged. These filters need to be replaced monthly. Indoor coil was plugged as well. cleaned indoor and outdoor coil. System is oversized for the duct work System is 27 years old and working to the best of its abilities. Recommend replacement of system. Furnace with AC Compressor is pulling 10 amps Outdoor fan is pulling 1 amp Blower is pulling 2 amps Subcool is 6 Superheat is 24 Temperature difference between return and supply is 20 Replaced filter and cleaned indoor and outdoor coil. This filter needs to be replaced monthly as well. System is 17 years old and working great.

Main system down more than half its refrigerant capacity causing unit to short cycle and cut off on low pressure switch. Believe leak is in evaporator coil inside due to presence of refrigerant oil in drain line. Believe leak is pretty big based on previous measurements from May 14th after repair was completed showing system refrigerant balance was within manufacturers specifications. Recommended replacement of air conditioning system as r-22 refrigerant is no longer available and evaporator coils are no longer manufactured for r-22 equipment.

Replacement of thermostat with wireless thermostat - cycled system to check operation - explained thermostat use to customer.

Found system about 3.5 oz out of range on refrigerant balance causing a 5 degree discrepancy from our tune up visit. Added 4 oz r410a and cycled system to check operation. System went from 14° temperature differential to 19° and everything else on system checks out normally. Recommended keeping an eye on system and let us know if system loses capacity again.

Replaced and tested system operation. System is in great working condition.

Replaced indoor coil, pulled vacuum Down to 300 microns. Tested system operation, added 1.5 pounds of refrigerant, superheat 10, subcool 8, temperature difference between return and supply is 24.

Found condenser defrost board throwing 9 flash code signaling ambient sensor short or open - ambient sensor ohms out to 1320 ohms but board does not recognize ambient sensor connection. Recommend replacement of board to prevent future issues. Gave interim cooling by bypassing board with TEST jumper. Checked operation of system and all electrical components including capacitor and contactor. Checked system refrigerant balance.

Pulled the battery out of the prestige thermostat and let it reset. Put battery back in. I was able to adjust the time after that. Went through the schedule made sure everything was still the same. Went through the programming made sure that nothing had changed in the programming. Was told a few days ago that 8 o’clock the thermostat set itself to 67°. There are two settings on the schedule one was for 10 o’clock at night to go to 67. When the thermostat had switched, it was 8 o’clock. Hopefully resetting the battery Will have corrected any issues.

Found system operating within textbook conditions for the temperatures inside and outside of home. Recommended keeping an eye on system to make sure system hits set point but did not recommend any changes at this time.

Cleaned indoor and outdoor coil Cleared out condensate line. System is in excellent working condition. Mini split System has a temperature difference between the return and supply of 26 Blower cabinet and wheel are clean with no signs of build up. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coil System is in excellent working condition.

Found system float switch triggered causing system not to come on as R-wore broken on float. Cleared drain and cycled system to check operation - everything came on normally. Explained proper thermostat use to customer going over best practices for both heating and cooling.

System was maintaining 70°. Homeowner wants at 68. At 68 unit freezes up the system utilizes our 22 and is 20 years old. She’s afraid that it’s gonna break because of the age and wants to be proactive as far as replacing it. No charge as we were just out here a couple weeks ago for a frozen coil

Found compressor to be shorted out. Talk to tech-support they said replace compressor both in inverter board and control board. Found leak on indoor head. Not gonna charge for leak search as previous Company pointed out the location. I just had to verify.

Replaced TXV on air handler. Had to remove coil to get TXV off reconnected everything pulled the vacuum to 500 µm charge system to manufacture specs six and three-quarter pounds 410a. 18° delta t. 5° super heat 10° sub cool

System running out of sync blower will run sometimes outdoor unit runs other times. Found indoor thermostatic expansion valve will close shut causing unit to trip on high pressure switch - recommend replacement of TXV 3/8" copper 3/8" couplings, drier, TXV required for replacement.
