Was informed heat strips didn’t work. Turned on emergency heat at thermostat. Tested amp draw on both 5KW sections both drawing 20 A switched it off at the thermostat several times and retested with the same results. Took a temperature difference on the heat strips 20°. Tested heat pump and auxiliary heat at the same time. Auxiliary heat doesn’t come out with the heat pump with a 10° setpoint. Thermostat should be turning on the auxiliary heat at 2° below set point or more this thermostat needs to be replaced

Replaced 3/4- 3/8 lineset, and filter dryer. Added 9lbs of refrigerant. Tested system operation. System is now working properly.

Charged with a bit of r410 about a pound and a half. Turned on breaker to outdoor unit was connected to a junction box that lead to outdoor shed which was turned off.

Found heat pump system lineset is pourous causing refrigerant leak on near side to air handler on 3/4" line. Want to have another tech come by to confirm and quote a repair. Charged system with 2# r410a and cycled to check operation. System is heating at this time. Will return this afternoon to quote a repair for lineset.

Delta T of 63F with heat kit on, 33F without. Changed filter. Brushed out drain trap. Suction line temp of 170F with an outdoor ambient of 55F. Fastened down screws on condenser and wedged condenser lid to remove rattling noise when unit is running. Checked blower wheel and EVAP coil, no sign of blockages or damage. Capacitor functional. System is functioning normally. Homeowner did not receive their summer tune up. Honoring their membership.

Performed evaporator coil change out and electric heater kit change out. Performed triple evaluation and charged according to manufacturers specifications. Cycled system to check operation of both heat kit and heat pump. Everything looks and runs great!

Delta T of 28F. Filter changed. Brushed out drain trap and condensate pump. Checked blower wheel and coils for dust and damage. Suction line temp of 119F with an outdoor ambient of 38F. No errors codes on inverter board. Electric heat kit working as intended. System is functioning normally.

Dual Fuel system at 10 CO ppm and 12% O2. Made slight gas valve adjustment to bring O2 down. Gas valve falls to 0 ppm on shutdown. Checked charge in cooling mode. Burners are clear. Inducer sounds good. No over amping from system. HP system had a dirty filter. 18.4 F delta T in cooling mode after removal of dirty filter. Checked all capacitors, amp draws, and voltages. Systems are functioning normally.

Suction line temp of 165 in heat mode with an outdoor ambient of 72. Delta T of 32. Removed dirty filter. Added algae tablets to drain pan. Brushed dust off of EVAP coil. Removed dust from return grill. Capacitors inside and outside are good. Blower is fairly dirty and recommended a lvl 1 pull and clean. Homeowner had to leave for work. Will consider cleaning blower during Spring visit. System is functioning normally.

Adjusted damper actuator for basement zone so it closes positively. Checked operation. Okay now.

Coil frozen inside and outside. Filters are clean. Need to return after defrost. Disconnect pulled. Set to fan only.

NORDYNE HEAT PUMP - Replacement of warranty compressor performing triple evacuation on system and charging to manufacturers specifications. Cycled to check operation.

Just a filter change. Nothing wrong with the system. 19 degree delta.

MAYTAG HEAT PUMP - Performed ultimate cooling tune up on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shut down, cleaning of coils and drain. Everything looks and runs great! Recommend getting pest control to look at crawlspace as lots of insects hanging around crawlspace access.

Found open start winding on compressor no continuity between start and run and start and common nothing shorted to ground

Performed ac cooling tune up checking electrical components, refrigerant balance, cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils, flushing of drain lines and treating drain pan with algae tablets. Everything looks and runs great!

Side house 18 degree delta. Main house 24 degree delta. Filter in main house needs to be changed in crawl space. Checked pressures, temps, amps, and caps in both units. Sprayed both coils with green cleaner. Covered up torn insulation on side house unit lineset. Systems are functioning normally.

Delta T of 19 across both power head and central AC. Cleaned filters in mini split power head and replaced filter in AHU. Brushed out drain line and treated all coils with green cleaner. Checked caps, pressures, amps, and temps. Capacitor reading 43 on a 45 +/- 6%, still functioning normally. Gave an estimate for a 6000 btu Mitsubishi system for a greenhouse after discussing the price with Kevin. Informed homeowners to call us back if they decide to go forward with the install. System is functioning normally.
