Replaced filter per customer request - pe formed full system diagnostic checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, checked drains, checked safeties. Believe problem caused by filter being plugged caused unit to ice up and overflow drain triggering float switch on unit. Treated drain line and drain pan with algae tablets. Everything runs normally at this time.

Performed AC maintenance tune up service on minisplit system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, shutdown, cleaning of outdoor unit, filters l, clean indoor coils and treatment of drain line.

When I arrived turned on system and went down to outdoor unit and noticed the liquid line starting to ice up. Ended up having to get a 3/8 adapter for my hoses to check refrigerant balance. Found the system was low on refrigerant. Added 2 lbs 6 oz of refrigerant and performed a leak search. I was unable to determine where the leak was. The system is currently working and has a 25 degree temperature difference, but I cannot guarantee the system doesn't have a leak and how long the refrigerant charge will last.

Sounds like bearings on Indoor blower motor are making noise, possibilitie of going bad in the future but pulling normal amps

Spring tuneup on Mitsubishi mini splits No issues found

No cooling on heat pump system arrived to check system found system mismatched equipment and lineset to be undersized for the equipment installed. Found outdoor unit operating in a bypass in the refrigerant circuit. System reversing valve stuck in bypass mode not allowing the heat pump to heat or cool. Tried to force reversing valve out of bypass mode to no avail. Outdoor unit is a 2012 model Goodman and indoor unit is a 2016 model ICP unit neither are under warranty. To make system right I recommend replacing the unit, lineset, and thermostat as it is inaccurate and about 5° off of the temperature in the apartment. Please call to either get further explanation or set up an estimate for replacement.

Replaced heat strip. Tested operation of heat strip no other issues found

Found indoor coil to be plugged with dirt causing high head pressure and low airflow. I disassembled the front panels of the coil. Clean the dirt off and then sprayed it down with cleaner and flushed it with water after doing this I dropped the static pressure across the coil to ..5 WC from 1 WC. Went ahead and tested operation of system to verify everything is working well tested heat strip as well. Found 5KW of the 10K W not working will have to replace the heat strip. Noticed that there wasn’t really good airflow so I went up into the attic and checked ductwork. I was thinking there might’ve been a duck that was disconnected and blowing air up there, but I couldn’t find anything. However, whoever ran the ductwork didn’t do a good job the way they ran the flex ducts
