System had two separate caps rigged together for 45 mfd. One cap died. Replaced both caps with the appropriate size cap for the system.

Upstairs delta of 17, filter changed, drain line blown out, SC 16 SH 4. Downstairs delta of 19, filter changed, drain line blown out, SC 14 SH 15. Cleaned lawn clippings off both condensers and treated coils with green coil cleaner. Systems are cooling normally.

Found unit was low about 3 Oz of refrigerant believe loss of refrigerant was caused by removal of gauges from last visit. After adding refrigerant and cycling system everything is operating within manufacturers specifications. No additional recommended changes at this time.

Found system filter plugged causing low airflow across evaporator coil. After removing filter system cycles and operates normally indicating system air filter is the culprit for system freezing up. Recommend replacing filter. Can find filters at filterfetch.com using product code: CKT-P4NY

HVAC and Thermostat Service and Repair - Found thermostat set to emergency heat instead of cool. Explain thermostat and how it works. Carrier doesn’t make a user-friendly thermostat. We took a picture of it printed it out and drew arrows on the picture of what each button does. Tested system found it low on refrigerant. Added refrigerant to manufacture specs. System has a 20° temperature difference ...No other issues found

Delta T of 20-22 on both systems. Filters still good. Condensate pumps good. Checked temps, pressures, amps, and caps. Added brass caps to both systems service valves. Leak checked valves with soap bottle. Systems are functioning normally.

Delta T of 19 on both units. Filters still good. Blower clean (furnace blower is brand new). Patched test holes in ductwork. Checked temps, pressures, caps, and amps. Removed mouse from top of straight cool condenser capacitor, tested cap. Patched up some bare spots on outdoor lineset. Sprayed coils with green cleaner. Both r22 systems showing suction pressure of 60-70 psig. High side 150-170. Systems are functioning normally.

Blower motor out of balance causing blower wheel to explode. Replaced entire wheel and motor in downstairs furnace. System is now blowing again.
