Heating & Air Conditioning Services in Fairview, NC
Trust Comfort Central With Your HVAC Service Needs
For exceptional heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality services in Fairview, NC, call Comfort Central, Inc. Our professional, extensively trained HVAC service technicians have all the knowledge and experience necessary to ensure your home is kept comfortable throughout the entire year.
The first thing you should do is inspect the outside unit, clean the area, and get rid of any weeds or debris that are obstructing airflow.
Next, make sure your filter is clean by checking it. When the airflow to the evaporator coil is restricted by a dirty filter, the coil frequently freezes. You might need to change your filter more frequently if you have pets or use your air conditioner frequently. Take your filter out and see if you can see through it as a good test.
You should call a professional if your air conditioner is still not cooling the air. You may have a problem with your compressor or refrigerant.
The national average for replacing an entire HVAC system is $7,000, and costs can range from $5,000 to $10,000. This equals between $25 and $60 per square foot. The size and brand of the HVAC system, the size of the house, the length of the ductwork, and the efficiency rating of the new unit all affect prices.
Increasing the ventilation in your home is one option. In order to improve air circulation and reduce the amount of harmful particles in your home, ventilation involves bringing in fresh air from the outside. If the weather permits, it's a good idea to open the windows. Additionally, you can use window fans to push potentially hazardous air out and draw fresh air in.
Another option is to think about purchasing a portable air purifier with a HEPA filter, which can capture and eliminate minute airborne particles like pollen, smoke, bacteria, mold, and dust. Although the cost of air cleaners varies greatly, some models that cost around $100 can effectively clean a room.
From complete installations to system maintenance and repair services, our experienced and fully certified service technicians are qualified to handle any service that you may need. Your comfort is our business, and your satisfaction our guarantee!
