Both units put out 112°F air off their face - believe the reason it took so long for unit to come on was due to defrost function - unit may have shutdown when going into defrost and had to finish it's defrost check before turning on. Defrost timer could be anywhere from 15-30 minutes and defrost check occurs after every 60 minutes of unit run time.

Found system worked up on arrival believe drain was slow game 6 flash error code indicating a float switch error. Cleared drain and cycled system to check operation - everything flows normally again.

Replaced condensate pump and cycled unit to check operation - everything comes on and cycles normally. Refrigerant balance and unit electrical components within range. Did not find any other issues today.

Found compressor off on thermal overload. Check the capacitors three of them are bad. Replaced all three. System will have to be off possibly for 24 hours to allow the compressor to cool off. Then I can check the refrigerant. At this point I’m not sure if the system is low on refrigerant caused the compressor to go off on thermal overload, or it was the capacitors. We will have to return once the compressor cools off, and we can check the refrigerant to make sure that that wasn’t the cause of the issue

I performed a complete ductless mini split service to resolve the issue. The process involved fully disassembling the indoor head units, deep-cleaning the internal blower wheels and coils to remove accumulated grime, and washing the reusable filters. This routine Mitsubishi mini split maintenance is critical for any ductless HVAC system's performance and air quality. The customer is amazed at the improved airflow and reports that the musty smell is completely gone.

We received a call for a routine heat pump service in Rosman, NC, as the customer noticed their unit was hesitating when switching from cooling to heating mode. I conducted a full heat pump maintenance and diagnostic check and found the reversing valve was sticking slightly.
