Found system cycling off on pressure due to fan not coming on - discovered no call for fan from thermostat. Powered R and G together and found fan does operate. Believe system thermostat is no longer supplying power to G on normal call for heat. Cycled system to check operation. Everything runs normally with G forced on. Recommend either replacing thermostat through Nest's warranty or replacement of thermostat. Replaced thermostat per customer request with Honeywell T6 wifi stat and cycled system to check operation. Everything runs normally again!

Found system off on float - removed clog from outdoor condensate line - pushed back a little to have a shorter exposure to outdoor temps and tried to tuck the condensate line into the insulation of the suction line. Short of running the condensate line to an indoor drain, recommendation would be to put a bucket under condensate drain at the pump on extended freezing days and monitoring the water coming out of the furnace to prevent the system from turning off on float switch. Everything else came back on normally at this time.

Gurgling sound is because whoever installed this equipment put a 3 to 2 reducer on the vent pipe in the horizontal position instead of vertical. I don’t think it’s going to cause much of an.

Found indoor control board intermittently not closing G circuit on call for heat. Recommended replacement of indoor control board. Returned 1/9/26 replaced indoor control board and cycled to check operation. Everything came on and cycled normally again. No additional recommended changes at this time.

Added buck transformer onto the Bosch heat pump voltage is now 228v

Warranty replacement of condenser fan motor - cycled system to check operation - found fault on thermostat - condensate pump full - customer complaint of a puddle in mechanical room previously - flushed and checked condensate pumps and furnace drains. Everything runs normally at this time.

Replacement of electric heat kit with comfort club maintenance plan

Thermostat blank due to electric heat burn out causing system 3 amp fuse to fail. Replaced 3 amp fuse and disconnected electric heater W wire to prevent issue reoccurring while waiting for replacement parts. Recommend replacement of electric heater kit. System will blow cool air during defrost until electric heater kit is replaced but system will operate in heat.

Customer states system was not keeping up this morning and failed to recover from nightly set back. Checked operation of heat pump and furnace. Both systems operate normally. Took a look at thermostat faults and furnace fault history and did not note any faults over the past month. Believe system thermostat wasn't allowing furnace heat to come on due to lock out settings. Adjusted lock out temperatures and adjusted heating droop to help system run more consistently. Could not hear any noise as many split was running it’s possible because it was in heat mode that the defrost cycle was running making noise however, if you hear the noise again or it stays steady, give us a call. We’ll come back and take a look.
