Found Comfort Central on Angie's List and called them to see if our dryer vent was cleared and working. Laura, the owner/manager, answered the call even with it being after 6PM. She scheduled a visit by the technicians, advising me that if the vent issue was beyond what was usually encountered then they would contact another service group. The techs arrived on time, both were professional and very nice. Although the vent issue could not be resolved, Laura contacted me and told me which companies could help; even staying on line with me as we verified the capabilities and equipment of the other provider. Laura's company is committed to client satisfaction and it most apparent in her engaging style and constant attention to making sure her recommendations are true and effective. We look forward to having Laura's team work with us when electrical/heater issues when those needs arise. I am certain you will really find your engagement with Comfort Central a delight and you should make them a partner in you household chores and challenges today

Owner, Kevin, patiently provides information when inquiring about the system. Before commiting to the purchase, I visited an installation that Kevin had done...the customer expressed great satisfaction after a few years of operation. I got a lower quote from another authorized dealer, but Kevin gave me a more warm & fuzzy feeling. The crew arrived on time and efficiently completed the installation. Although I have had the system only one day, after installation Kevin and crew ran through all operating modes and satisfied me that all was well. One year special service agreement is included in the price.

Kevin Schumann is extraordinarily knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He was able to eliminate 2 existing HV/AC systems that we needed to compensate for the poor design and installation that had been done by our previous contractor. He and his crew always showed up when expected, did the work on time, left everything neat and well labeled, cleaned up after themselves, and just did an all around fantastic job. I wish we'd done this years ago.

We selected this company for installation of a new heat pump system in our home that has never had any system before. The owner came out to our home and assessed the needs of our house. We were nervous about using this company because we didn’t know anything about them except the fact they were listed at servicemagic website. Their price was below the other five bids we had. The main reason we decided to go with them was the professional demeanor and knowledgeable communication we could establish with the owner. When the crew showed up to work they maintained a good working relationship with each other and a patient relationship with our concerns. The boss did not have to be present for his crew to work efficiently. Jay Eidelberg and Charles Humphries were the two who did the labor and attended to every detail even to things beyond the contract. We would recommend this company anytime due to the precision and caring that showed in the work performed.

We had Comfort Central come for an estimate, and I knew almost immediately that I was dealing with a class act. Kevin spent several hours at our home, doing the load calculation and talking over our options. We went with his recommendation, and while it was expensive (the other bids came in at least $1000-1500 less) it was worth the additional expenditure. They did excellent system design, and added some insulated flex duct without additional charge. They also took time to answer any questions we had. I wish there were more companies and contractors operating at this level of competence and customer awareness. Thus far, the system is operating exactly as was discussed.

First of all, I called Comfort Central in originally for an ailing system. They installed a brand new system. Their prices were competitive, they came on time and the work was done very thoroughly. They even went a step further and pulled the building inspector report on it, so an inspector came out to inspect the system and to evaluate the quality of work that had been done. He even told my wife that it was the best installation he'd ever seen. This company has great follow-up and service plans. Our system works perfectly. Based on my personal experience with them, I've recommended them to many of my friends and so far everyone has been very pleased with their work. Comfort Central does what good companies should do. They provide great customer service, are on time and follow-up with their customers to make sure they are satisfied. Those things are absolutely valuable in a company. It's hard trying to get tradespeople to even show up to an appointment these days!

We had a problem and Comfort Central provided a really good solution. They took the time to evaluate the situation we were in and find a solution that fit really well and made us really happy. They did the work as promised, and even though they ran into problems, they didn't come looking for more money or anything like that, which was nice. The one thing I can say about them is that they're expensive, but when you're willing to pay a little bit extra you often get better service, and we ended up with a better project because of it.

Comfort Central takes care of all our heating and air conditioning needs. They converted a hot water heating system, and they replace air conditioners as needed because I burn them up ever 18 months or 2 years. They also take care of my boiler. They do it all!

After doing my homework and shopping around, I hired Comfort Central to install an air conditioner in my home. The house up here is a seasonal property--I'm in Florida for the winters--and was built 22 years ago with no air conditioner. A few years ago I decided it was time to break down and get a unit, so I went to the internet to read recommendations for installers. I called Kevin at Comfort Central, and he came over on time, as promised. The first thing that impressed me was the truck he was driving. It was immaculate on the outside, and on the inside everything was spotless and in its place. Also, he wore a nice, professional uniform that was clean and well maintained. Right away, he performed a load analysis of my entire home, which involved many measurements and a computer program that processed all the calculations. Of the five companies I solicited bids from, Comfort Central were the only ones to measure anything. The others simply looked around and told me what size unit they assumed I needed. Kevin gave me a final verdict soon after his evaluation, and made several recommendations that included literature and complete pricing. I picked the one I thought would best serve my needs, and the installation was superb. The unit works flawlessly, and my highest electric bill has only been $66, which is less than what I pay during the winters in Florida. Everything from beginning to end was as professional as possible. I'm 62, and when you've been around for a while you build up a lot of experience with service people. When you find someone you can trust, that's reliable and dependable, it's really quite nice. I purchased a maintenance contract from Comfort Central, and it's an incredible value. They come out to clean the filters and check voltages, and I know it's extending the life of my unit. Comfort Central fill a much needed niche in this area. Call them if you want the best.

After doing some research on the web, I hired Comfort Central to install a geothermal heating system in the new house that I'm building for myself. Now, we have a service contract with them, too. I chose them over a few other local companies for their technical expertise and grasp of my situation, as well as their willingness to work with me. Comfort Central did all the necessary calculations, and were able to draw up a system that could meet my needs. They also organized the well-drilling for the four holes my system required. From start to finish, they were there to answer my questions and address my concerns. They crew do very nice work, and the end result met all my expectations. What I liked most about Comfort Central was that they were able to engineer a comprehensive and effective system that would meet my needs, but wasn't more intricate or complex than was necessary. They were able to provide exactly what I was looking for. I have recommended them to several people already.

Comfort Central has been very good with us. Kevin and his crew were excellent. There were a couple of glitches in the beginning, but it's not their fault, it's just this new system, and they were able to work through it with their supplier/distributor. Kevin was persistent, and his crew was good. We had a flood later, but it was not their fault, it was a different company. They came in immediately and repaired another company's damage. The system works good, and I, and I'm very happy with them.

I had initially used them back in May for a "spring tune-up" advertised on Angie's list., and was satisfied enough to join their "Comfort Club" program. Then, just a week or so ago, my unit went out on a Saturday night during a very bad heat spell we've been having. They actually did get someone out that next day, but due to a communication error, we did not connect, and it was late Monday before they were able to come out again.The technician was hereabout an hour, had the unit fixed, was paid and went on his way. Today, I received my check back from them, saying due to the mixup on Sunday there was no charge. I sincerely offered to pay as it really was no big deal and they were certainly entitled, but Laurie, their office manager, refused to take it. This is without a doubt, a company standing by their service and practicing the long-lost art of customer service. I would not consider using anyone else, even for a lower quote and highly recommend them!

We had just purchased a 7 year old home which had only been rented during that time. We knew that the A/C & heating system had never been checked since the house was built and we were concerned. I called Comfort Central and made an appointment for the following week. I was unable to be home at the time but my husband was and he was impressed. Nick was here on time and was very thorough in checking our system. He found several components that needed to be replaced immediately and some that could wait until the fall service. We purchased the service contract (which I am a firm believer in for A/C & heating units) and received a discount on the parts and service we had done. Super pleased with this company! We thought we would not be able to find a company as good we had previously (in Florida) but it looks as if we did.

This gentleman was knowledgeable and solved the problem for a most reasonable price. My cost includes a maintenance package ($175) which I was very glad to purchase. The owner and a trainee arrived on time to do the tune up. They inspected, cleaned and charged the system. They were both friendly and courteous. After they left, we received a follow-up call from the company to make sure we were happy with the work. The price of the work was more than fair since it was a special deal; however they provided information on their regular prices and they very reasonable.

The technician was very courteous and professional. He installed a new filter that I had on-hand and gave me information about where I could order filters on-line for a good price in the future. I had previous experience with this company when they installed a new gas boiler system several years ago. Then and now, I found the service to be very good and the price very fair for the work done. They followed up the service call a couple of days later with a phone call, checking to be sure I was pleased with the service. I recommend them for any heating and air conditioning service.

I had a Big Deal for $59 for and A/C tune-up and inspection plus indoor air review. They cleaned out the A/C and checked the heat pump and gas burners.
Everything looks great, sounds great, and is in working order. I liked them so well that I committed to a service contract with them. They were polite each and every time, both in person and on the phone. They came when they said they would, right on time, first thing in the morning.

This was a check of the air conditioning system. The service attendant noted we had a problem with the freon, so $40 was added to the cost. The attendant was cordial and responsive to my questions.

I came home from being out of town to find our very old a/c unit was not working -- I was worrried we were going to have to replace the unit. I called Comfort Central (who'd done our inspection and tune up a few months prior) on a Sunday night (they have an emergency line), and they sent someone out Monday morning. A fan blade had fallen off and simply had to be re-attached. We will use them again and I would recommend them.
