I moved to the beautiful Western North Carolina Mountains in 2006 with my husband and two children, settling in the Brevard area. I really enjoy the people, community, and of course all the wonderful activities our mountains provide.
Laurie went to school for Bio Medical Engineering and has worked in many industries including Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (HVAC) and has remained in this industry since 1994. She is a Building Performance Analyst certified through the Building Performance Institute as well as a Certified EPA Lead Renovation, Repair & Painting (RRP) Renovator. Laurie is excited to be able to provide real solutions for the comfort, health, safety and environment for Comfort Central, Inc.
I am married to a wonderful husband, and we now have a sweet baby boy. I am originally from Louisiana, but we wanted to make Brevard our home. We absolutely love being in the mountains and exploring all the waterfalls here. You will either find me outside enjoying nature or in the kitchen trying a new dish for the family.
Nikki has a masters degree in social work and loves people. She has worked in social service and education for 10yrs. She has travelled extensively overseas, teaching and exploring cultures. She enjoys serving others and being a part of the Comfort Central team.
I’m married and a father of four sons. Before I started Comfort Central, I had many hobbies including antique radio restoration, fishing, back country camping, brewing beer and mead and projects around the home.
Kevin Schumann is the Vice president of Comfort Central, Inc. He has been in the HVAC industry since 1981. Kevin has always strived to excel in every facet of the industry he is exposed to. He believes in continuous training and welcomes a challenge. Kevin currently holds North Carolina Licenses H1, H2, H3 Class 1 and SPPH electrical. He is also a certified in HVAC System Performance Testing and Combustion Performance and Diagnostics through National Comfort Institute. He is also Nate and IGSHPA Certified; as well as holds many other industry certifications.
I live in Clyde with my wife and 2 children. When I am not working I like to, relax in a rocking chair, play with my kids, take care of my live stock and enjoy outdoor activities.
Jay Eidelberg works at Comfort Central as a HVAC Technician. He has been working in the Heating and Cooling Industry since 1987 including but not limited to, new construction, retrofits, change outs, duct design, job layout, blue print analysis, quality control, and field supervisor among others. A native of South Florida. He studied Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) at Atlantic Technical Collage, graduating in 1989. He has also studied Electronics at City College in Fort Lauderdale as well as completed the Building Performance Institute’s Heating Professional Program.
